The facility located in Ballee has installed a new HD Flexo printing line for short runs production, in response to market requirements for the flexible packaging category.

The new machine is fully installed and up and running at our plant in France. This narrow web flexo has been developed to be in line with the requirements of the market and it’s able to run on high production speed.

Its specific mechanism and conception allow to apply the lacquer without interfering the printing process, providing a wide spectrum of finishing.

In addition to many technical advantages, one of the most important benefits of the new press is the possibility to apply varnishes that bring added value against conventional matt/gloss applications. Furthermore, the quality of results is comparable with roto printing press at the same cost as flexo printing technology.

“This new printing HD flexo machine is going to let us increase our production, improve lead time, boost competitiveness for short print runs, and propose innovative solutions with differentiated finishing capabilities,” said Patrick Brochard, General Manager of Emsur France SPO.

This investment represents a strategic step to increase productivity in France, as well as reducing our time to market.
